We are not accepting any new cases at this time!
We apologize for this to all of our potential clients. To be thorough, we are focusing on small amounts of cases at a time and look to expand in the fall of 2012 to widen our caseload ability. We are also experimenting with new ways to assist clients using methods that go against the popular ways of doing things.

Ohio Groups List- Updated April 28, 2012
Is this possible? Yes! After many months of research and investigation into groups in Ohio I have established a list of currently active groups who investigate client-centered cases in the state of Ohio. Why would I do this? I feel it's important that we all know our neighbors. It's important that we take the time to get to know one another beyond exchanging links. This field is dotted with hundreds of groups that are all finding their own way, why? There is so much knowledge and information that makes up each group (despite what many think this is not a new fad and television shows are leading groups in the wrong direction!) and to not share or pass it on is why many new groups make the same mistakes as others have. Let's break the cycle and start to work together at any level. Hopefully this list will also assist the client in finding a group near them as well.

O.P.I.N. Books
"Handbook For the Amateur Paranormal Investigator or Ghost Hunter: How to Become a Successful Paranormal Group", was released in May of 2008. This book was a lot of work, but I feel it's all worth it (thanks to my wife, Amy, for the editing help!). I'm very proud of this release as I feel it tells it like it is and is not about saying the right things to gain points in this field. If you're a new paranormal investigator or want to have a successful, long running team, I suggest you order this book. This book is also available as an e-book at the iTunes bookstore.
My second book is also available and is a companion book to the first. "Betty's Ghost: A Guide to Paranormal Investigation", picks up on the investigation aspect where the first one left off. Betty's Ghost follows a fictitious case, based upon events I have investigated, from the initial contact to the case follow-up. It's an over-the-shoulder look at how I investigate cases and is based upon a tool I created for my investigators.
"Handbook For the Amateur Paranormal Investigator II: The Art and Science of Paranormal Investigation" is a new book released on July 8, 2010. This book is geared toward those who know the basics beyond what is portrayed on television and the internet and this next chapter takes a step forward into the world of client centered paranormal investigations. Learn the art of the interview including basic body language that can help in interviews as well as everyday situations. Learn advanced interview techniques that are simple to use that will help your client remember the most detail and provide you with an accurate picture of your upcoming investigation of the location. Evidence review, and other topics that are rarely mentioned with investigations, are discussed tool by tool. Learn the reality behind the tools and methods used in the field of paranormal investigation that goes against the popular ways of doing things. This book is also available as an e-book at the iTunes bookstore.
In Handbook for the Amateur Paranormal Investigator: Part II - The Art and Science of Paranormal Investigation, Brian Parsons establishes a refreshingly grounded approach to conducting paranormal investigations including many uncommon and valuable tips that can only come from someone with many years of experience in the field. Any paranormal investigator who reads this book will undoubtedly take away a wealth of knowledge that will enhance and complement their investigations and research. I highly recommend Brian's book to both new and seasoned paranormal investigators alike. Excellent!-Doug Kelley, PhD, CH, CSL

He is also a permanent part of the show hosting the "Paranormal News Insider" covering the paranormal news of the past week as well as other inside looks at the subject. It's a show within a show. The Grand Dark Conspiracy can be heard live every Monday night at 10 P.M. eastern on Shark Radio Network.

The Paranormal News Insider is now available as a smart phone app!

Available from the Google Play store, the Paranormal News Insider app features the ParaNexus Anomalous News Feed, an up to date list of conferences and conventions with links to the official sites, the old blog which will bring you links to the archives, as well as the new Twitter feed @ParaNewsInsider.
The Paranormal News Insider app is designed only for Android and is only available through the Google Play store. It is available for over 1200 devices!
The app is free since there is really nothing there that you can't get on a regular computer, except the portability of the app. A majority of the app is set up through rss feeds, but the archive site was designed as a mobile friendly site until I can create something a little better. There will hopefully be new improvements to the app in the near future to bring a more enhanced user-friendly experience. The app will only available to a limited number of people due to the cost of creating the app, unless sponsorship emerges.

While we charge nothing for our services (interviews, investigations and speaking engagements) we do accept donations and will gladly accept any help we can get. All of our members donate their time and spend their own money on their own equipment. Thank you.
